Privacy policy

Three things, and nothing else.

What you type into a form. Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, company, city, plan type, how many plan sets you handle in a month, and whatever you write in the message box. When submissions are open, this also includes the project address and the plan files you upload.

How you got here. If you arrived from an advertisement or a partner link, the campaign parameters on that link, the page you landed on, and the website that referred you. This is stored in your browser for the length of your visit and attached to a form only if you submit one. It tells us which advertisements are worth paying for and, in future, which partner earned a referral.

Ordinary server records. Our hosting provider records the usual technical details of a request, including IP address, browser, and timing. We do not use these to build a profile of you.

We do not run advertising trackers, cross site pixels, or session recording on this site. There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.

To reply to you, to quote and perform work you ask us to perform, to keep a record of what was agreed, and to measure which advertising produced which enquiry. That is the complete list. We do not use your details for anything you did not contact us about.

We use a small number of service providers, each for one job, and none of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Supabase stores enquiries, orders, and any plan files you upload. Files are held in a private store and are not publicly reachable.

Resend delivers the notification email that tells us you got in touch.

Vercel hosts and serves this website.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising, and we do not trade lists with anybody. If a future partner or affiliate programme changes any of that, this page changes first.

Drawings you send us are your confidential business documents and we treat them that way. They are stored privately, shared only with the engineer and staff working on your job, and never published, resold, or used as an example without your written permission. A sealed set is a legal instrument belonging to the project it was prepared for.

Enquiries are kept while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period after, so that we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Records connected to engineering work, including the plans and the sealed output, are kept for as long as Texas law and professional practice require a licensed engineer to retain project records, which is longer than we would otherwise keep anything.

Ask us to delete an enquiry and we will, unless it is attached to engineering work we are required to retain, in which case we will tell you what we cannot delete and why.

Write to [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will answer within a reasonable time and we do not require you to use a form to make the request.

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to know what is collected, to correct it, to delete it, and to obtain a copy. We honour those requests from anybody who makes one, wherever they live, because operating two standards would be more work than operating one.

Our database is closed by default: no browser can read it, and the only access is from our own servers holding a credential that is never sent to a visitor. Uploaded files sit in a private store reachable only through short lived links we generate. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.

This is a service for construction and engineering professionals. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anybody under 18.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell the people it affects directly.
